He recently opened a second practice in Foster City, California (www.envisioneyemd.com). He also created the Solo Eye Physicians network, which currently has over 200 members throughout the entire country. Dr. Deepak Grover has been in private practice since 2010. His experiences in two large group settings had convinced him to open up his own practice in Blue Bell, PA in 2018. Opening Blue Bell Eye Care & Surgery, PC, was the natural course for Dr. Grover to take after he committed to settling down just outside of Philadelphia. Originally from New York City, his prior experiences have been in the optical retail realm, starting and selling a profitable optical business in 2009 (Growlax Optical, PLLC). An understanding of the mechanics of a traditional group buy-in of a large practice as opposed to efficiently managing a solo practice, along with his past optical experience, provided Dr. Grover the impetus to start and desire to help other physicians with a similar goal. With Independent Practice Partners, Dr. Grover hopes to share his experiences with other ophthalmologists who may have the passion and desire, but just need the direction and mentor-ship to help open the doors to solo practice.
