Dr. Shashi Alloju is a board-certified ophthalmologist based in the North Dallas area. He got his bachelor's degree from Austin College and went on to attend medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch. After finishing ophthalmology residency at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern, he completed a cornea fellowship at the Casey Eye Institute.

Driven by the pursuit of autonomy and a dream to build his ideal practice, Dr. Alloju founded Eyehealth Texas in 2015 after completing training. He practices general ophthalmology as well as cornea/refractive surgery. Focused on efficiency and growth, the practice continues to thrive, now employing multiple providers.

As one of the founding members of IPP, Dr. Alloju serves a role focused on client relations and operations.

Dr. Choi is a board-certified ophthalmologist in Saratoga, CA. He completed his undergraduate studies at U.C. Berkeley, medical school at the University of Illinois, and residency at Rush University. In his final year of residency, Dr. Choi struggled to find a career opportunity consistent with his professional philosophy. He realized that the only way to practice medicine correctly was to start his own practice. Dr. Choi opened his solo practice in 2011, which is currently thriving and still growing.

He believes that the small or solo practice is the key to efficient and superior patient care. Through Independent Practice Partners, Dr. Choi aspires to help his fellow colleagues seek the same professional satisfaction and independence that he experiences every day. Practice building and ownership allow medicine to be practiced in the way it is meant to be.

In his spare time, Dr. Choi enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing poker, watching movies, and collecting Pokémon cards.

Dr. Deepak Grover is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who has been practicing in the greater Philadelphia region since 2010. He earned his undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University and his medical degree from the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Grover completed his ophthalmology residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital.

In 2018, Dr. Grover founded Blue Bell Eye Care & Surgery, where he practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a focus on both routine and complex cataract and glaucoma surgeries.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Grover values spending quality time with his family. He also enjoys exercising, jogging, playing racquetball, and cooking.

At IPP, Dr. Grover serves on the Board of Directors and remains actively involved with clients and staff.

Dr. Elson Lai is a board-certified ophthalmologist based in Southern California. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, earned his medical degree in Chicago, and went on to complete his residency at the renowned UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Lai is the founder and Chief Medical Officer of Rosemead Eye Center, located in the suburbs of Los Angeles, where he leads a comprehensive ophthalmology practice. He is a strong advocate for Office-Based Surgery, championing its safety, efficiency, and patient-centered approach.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lai is a seasoned entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of Skin Laundry, a global skincare brand with over 50 locations worldwide, known for pioneering laser and light therapy facials.

At IPP, Dr. Lai serves as the Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Business Development, where he helps shape the organization's strategic direction and growth initiatives.

Dr. Paul is a board-certified ophthalmologist and oculofacial plastic surgeon based in Austin, Texas. He completed his undergraduate education in the Business Honors Program at The McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He then completed his residency program at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City and was chosen for a prestigious two-year fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Paul is the founder of Austin Face and Body, which is a multi-surgeon practice with a focus on surgical plastic sub-specialty care.

He remains very active in the community through philanthropic efforts and community education.

IPP Dr. Paul has served on the Board of Directors since the company’s founding and believes in private practice efficiency in the ever-changing landscape of medicine.
